Installation Instructions

Medusa QB Installation

Download from above (and save, i.e. to your Desktop) the file "medusa_qb_sub_win32_3.x.x.msi. Double click and follow the prompts and choose the default settings throughout.

Once downloaded, proceed with the installation. You may install it to the default directory or any other you wish.

After installation, you will have a new Medusa QB icon on your desktop. Start the program and before doing anything else, you will want to go to the Configure menu and proceed one by one through each of the configuration screens making sure to use Help topics along the way for instructions on how to configure Medusa QB (and QuickBooks) to be able to successfully generate LEDES 1998B Invoices. This process will take some time and effort to get precisely correct but once it is set up the program is very simple to run. Please see the pricing options below for details on getting help with this configuration process. Once Medusa QB is configured (or at points along the way) you may generate as many test LEDES invoice files you wish in order to get it exactly right before you submit a real invoice file.

Pricing

We have several pricing options to choose from which deal with different ways of getting Medusa QB and QuickBooks configured. For whichever option, the free demo version of Medusa QB contains everything necessary for you (included in the User Manual) to get your system set up to produce LEDES 1998B Invoices directly from your QuickBooks Invoices, and with it you will have a full 30 days to get it working before any payment would be necessary to continue using it.

Whatever option you choose, all configuration settings will carry over when going from the trial version to the purchased version.

Option 1 (Recommended): Fully supported plan.
$299.00 + $99/yr maintenance fee.

This option includes all the assistance needed to help you set up and configure the application and QuickBooks. This is typically done via remote desktop session and can usually be completed within one to three days.

Bridged Analytics has performed the setup of many of these and has considerable expertise getting both Medusa QB and QuickBooks exactly to a place where they need to be for the process to work effortlessly.

Note: $99 will be required each year starting one year from initial purchase in order to maintain support, updates, and keep the program operational.

Option 2: Fully supported with lifetime activation.
$599.00.

This is the same as Option 1 without any yearly maintenance fee.
A lifetime activation may also be purchased in the future for $300.

Option 3: All Configuration will be done by the end user.
$399.00.
This is our most economical option (no maintenance plan or lifetime activation required) and is ideal for those users that are willing to read through the Help files and are familiar with making changes to QuickBooks (i.e. Custom Fields, Items, Classes, Templates, etc.).

This may also be a good place to start and if you get stuck you can add one of the supported plans. And or course with the free trial you will have 30 days to get it fully configured without spending any money and that will give you some idea if you will need the support in Options 2 or 3.

Ongoing Support
The first two options above include ongoing support and updates. The unsupported version will include free bug fixes if required.
